Mercersburg Academy is pleased to offer an opportunity for college graduates to apply for a teaching fellowship. Our program pairs the fellow with an experienced teacher who will serve as your mentor as you learn all components of teaching in a boarding school environment. You will be fully immersed in class preparation, observing and then teaching classes, and all activities required of a faculty member such as coaching, dorm supervision, and advising students. This is a one- or two-year program that offers a stipend, housing, and full benefits. We are recruiting for two fellows, one for Biology and one for English. If you have a strong desire to pursue teaching in a boarding school environment and to learn from others and develop strong foundational teaching skills in a collaborative environment, we hope you consider applying. Mercersburg Academy graduates are not eligible, however, please share with your network.
