The Developer, Online Learning will build, implement, document and maintain web applications and software that supports online learning; troubleshoot problems and manage related software and applications; and collaborate with DCS staff, members and other Infrastructure Services staff.
Collaborates with Academics and Student Learning and Infrastructure Services departments for the purpose of prioritizing technology support needs related to online learning.
Manages the relationship with Infrastructure to coordinate software upgrades, service requests and enhancements for appropriate learning management system(s) for the purpose of ensuring high quality learning experiences for staff and students.
Maintains accounts and password security for authorized access to virtual learning-related software for the purpose of maintaining data security.
Collaborates with district, schools, departments and individuals to support the operations of online learning for the purpose of ensuring efficient use of resources and high quality user experiences.
Provides technical support of online learning-related software for the purpose of ensuring access to needed resources for staff and students.
Designs and develops web applications using industry best practices and programming standards developed by the Infrastructure Services Department for the purpose of supporting online operations and increasing staff efficiency.
Serves as a technical resource to Dublin staff and students for the purpose of providing advice regarding all technology and software utilized for online learning.
Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the online learning unit.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience, preferred
Implementation of web-based application software, preferred.
Prior experience with Schoology, LMS, SQL Server and Visual Studio, preferred.
