Who We Are
Cristo Rey Columbus prepares students to excel in college, in career, and in character. Our college-prep curriculum, work-study program, and faith-based education combine to give students a unique experience and an affordable option for high-quality education. Founded in 2013, the school is currently in its eighth year of operation.
Over half of Cristo Rey Columbus students have at least one parent who was born outside of the United States. In addition, about 10% of CRC students were born outside of the U.S. (in over 20 different countries). Cristo Rey families come from over 40 different countries including in Africa, Asia, and Central and South America. Nearly half of Cristo Rey students speak a language other than English at home, including Creole, Hindi, Spanish, and Swahili.

You are firmly committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in education or in the primary teaching area is required
Valid Ohio teaching license (or working towards completion)
A Master’s degree
Desire to develop one’s own faith and to bring it to bear in one’s work as an educator
Teaching experience in a Catholic or an independent school
Experience working with students who represent a variety of cultures, races, ethnicities, and linguistic backgrounds
Submitting official college transcripts, a background check and attendance at a Protecting God’s Children session will be required prior to employment
