Career Center

Coordinate the implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and other District science initiatives. Provide effective leadership and technical assistance, keen oversight, and accountability. Work with site leaders and teachers to improve the quality of science instruction and enhance student learning.  

Bachelor’s Degree in a field of Science; advanced degrees preferred. Five years of successful teaching and related experiences. Strong record of achieving academic excellence in science with urban learners. Valid California driver’s license; provide personal automobile and proof of insurance. Hold a valid Teaching Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing; Administrative Services Credential required.
