Position requires an active and valid PA Secondary School Counselor Certification. Previous experience as a secondary school counselor preferred. The candidate must have good communication skills and a good working relationship with staff, students, and parents. Candidate should be familiar with, and preferably have experience with, middle school students and their needs. Must have the ability to meet the needs of diverse learners and knowledge of and ability to use a variety of assessment tools as well as interpret data. Must have strength in applying data to instructional practices when making decisions about interventions.
