The successful candidate for this position must possess a valid and active Pennsylvania Department of Education certificate for Hearing Impairment.  This position supports the hearing needs across students with special needs as well as students being determined for possible special education eligibility.  The candidate should be well versed in deaf/hard of hearing assessments, specific interventions that can be implemented both in individual and group therapy, familiarity with the evaluation, re-evaluation and IEP process, billing, and assistive technology for students with unique hearing disorders.  The professional candidate(s) selected for this assignment understands and agrees that they may be required to teach in a blended or online format as requested by administration
