PURPOSE The Chief Academic Officer (CAO) is a leadership role that will report to the Superintendent of Columbia Public Schools. The CAO provides leadership and executes the vision and strategic direction for Columbia Public Schools curriculum, instruction, assessment and school improvement initiatives.
