Community High School District 128 is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, approximately 40 miles from downtown. This area of Lake County is known for its schools, parks, family orientation, vibrant communities and overall high quality of life.  The District has over 3,000 students enrolled in grades 9–12. The district's three schools, Libertyville High School, Vernon Hills High School and the transition school Transition Pathways, serve students from several communities, including Libertyville, Vernon Hills, Green Oaks, Rondout, Mundelein, and Mettawa.
