Michigan Leadership Institute is pleased to facilitate the search for the next superintendent at Okemos Public Schools.

The Okemos Public Schools district is situated in the south-central portion of Michigan's lower
peninsula near Lansing, the state capital, and shares a common border with Michigan State
University.

Ranked as the number one school district in the Lansing area and number eight statewide by Niche in 2024 and 2025 and, Okemos provides educational resources to more than 4,900 students in an early childhood center, four elementaries, two middle schools and a high school across the district. The Montessori program is available for students in Pre-K-8th grade.

• Michigan Administrative Certificate, or equivalent
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership
• Minimum of five years successful experience as a school administrator
